Principal Dentist – Dr Geraint Buse BDS (Hons)

Geraint was born and raised in Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll, Anglesey. He graduated in 2005 from Liverpool University with a BDS with honours degree with a Distinction in Restorative Dentistry. He has continued to build his experience and skills working for 5 years as an associate, and completing Vocational Training and an Educational Clinical Attachment at the Oral Surgery Department at a practice in Bangor, Gwynedd. In 2010, he successfully completed the year-long Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He opened Marquess Dental in January 2011, just a few yards from his old primary school. He is a Full-Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). He has completed all available UK modules of the world renowned Dawson Academy curriculum and completed the Wired Orthodontic ‘Core of Knowledge’, ‘Ortho-Restorative’, ‘Mini Screws’, ‘Integrated Smile Design’ and ‘Lingual Orthodontics’ courses. He lectured at the ‘Digital Discovery Conference’ at the Royal College of Music and Drama in Cardiff in April 2018.
Dentist – Dr Elen Evans BChD

Elen was born in Bodorgan and raised in Llangristiolus. She graduated in 2010 from Leeds University, obtaining a BChD degree. Having completed her vocational training in Conwy, she then undertook a six months posting as a maxillofacial Senior House Officer in Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, before spending a further six months working in the Community Dental Service in Llanfair PG. Having enjoyed her time as a Senior House Officer, Elen decided to return to the Hospital Dental Service and undertook a further six months placement. This enriched the practical skills that she had already obtained and gave her further confidence working in this field.
Dentist - Dr Dan Jones BDS (Hons)

Dan completed his A-levels at Ysgol Friars in Bangor, completed a MSc Degree in Biological Electron Microscopy at University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and graduated with a BDS (Hons.) degree in Dentistry from University of Newcastle in 2006. After completing his NHS vocational training on Anglesey, Dan worked at a practice in Colwyn Bay for over 8 years. He has a keen interest in outdoor activities and is a keen rock climber – he recently completed a 4 week expedition visiting the Himalayas in Nepal.
Dentist - Dr Carys Harper Lloyd BDS

Carys was born and raised in Anglesey and attended Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern. She graduated in 1990 from Cardiff Dental School with a BDS degree and immediately commenced a career in General Practice. She completed her Vocational Training in Caernarfon. She has worked in the Anglesey / Gwynedd area for the past 28 years, twelve of which were spent as Partner and co-owner of a Private Practice in Bangor which she sold in 2006. She now enjoys working part time and is the newest member of the team at Marquess Dental. When not working, Carys spends most of her time providing an endless taxi service for her boys and taking their lively Welsh Springer Spaniel for walks.
Dentist - Dr Glesni Llwyd

Originally from Llanuwchllyn, Gwynedd, Glesni qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2011. Following the completion of her foundation training in South Wales she worked at the Cardiff Dental Hospital and for the Community Dental Service. She completed her MFDS qualification in 2014 and returned to North Wales in 2015. She is an Invisalign(R) provider and in May 2019 gained a certificate in restorative and aesthetic dentistry from the Dominic Hassall Training Institute. She is also a member of the North Wales and Anglesey International Team for Implantology. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and outdoor activities.
